Forest of Marston Vale
This project is part of OffsetMyFlight’s UK-based initiatives and is not certified under international standards such as the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), the Gold Standard (VER), or the United Nations’ Certified Emission Reductions (CER) programmes.
The Forest of Marston Vale is a registered charity and Community Forest dedicated to enhancing the environment and quality of life across 61 square miles between Bedford and Milton Keynes.
To date, the charity has planted over 2 million trees, transforming the landscape and supporting local communities and wildlife. Trees play a vital role in cooling and purifying the air, capturing carbon, reducing flood risk, and supplying sustainable materials — making them one of our most effective tools in the fight against climate change.
The Forest’s long-term vision is to achieve 30% tree cover across the area, which will require planting an additional 5 million trees.
